Hello All!
My name is Courtney Loveall. I am the new owner of Poppy's Place in Oakdale. The original owner was also named Courtney :-) She started this beautiful store three years ago and thanks to her, I am able to continue this store and bring some new ideas that fit for my family's entrepreneurship dreams.
I am a wife, a mother, a homeschool teacher, a farmer (kinda), and a definite big dreams kind of gal! Before agreeing to buying Poppy's, I have worked as a teacher for the past six years. I worked law enforcement for three years, and at Memorial Hospital for 15 years.
Just like the last owner, my store is truly a family affair, and I can NOT do it without them. My husband is my supporter, my muscle and my grounding. My daughter Cam is my social media, online app girl that manages the posts, to keep you all up to date with great products. My two sons help put price tags on items, and one is my little entrepreneur himself hoping to put items of his own in the store to sell. My best friend Heather is my backbone that is always here to help me, whether it's to move stuff, work some hours, dress mannequins or give great ideas on how to make things better around the store. I also could not be able to work the store and my teaching job if it wasn't for my employee Gladys. She runs the store when I am unable to and definitely has been an asset to keep around!
My family looks forward to getting to know both the original and the new customers. We will try our best to provide an amazing store for your entire family to have an affordable place to shop here in Oakdale.
